Arahunga promotes inclusive education across schools. We believe that all students learn and achieve best in age and socially appropriate environments. By working in strong collaborative teams involving parents, schools and organisations we are able to design high quality individual educational programmes. Arahunga has become a ‘Resource and Service Centre’ offering two levels of support:

1. An Itinerant Teacher Service provides an experienced teacher to schools in return for the teacher component of the On-going Reviewable Resourcing Scheme (ORRS).
2. Five Satellite Class partnerships with primary, intermediate and secondary schools allows students with diverse learning potentials to interact and learn with their peers while enrolled at Arahunga.
